Manchester, New Hampshire
We strip, restore, and refinish drums with precision that turns worn-out shells into instruments that look and sound like they just left the factory floor.
What We Do
Complete removal of old finishes, lacquer, and wrapping down to bare shell. We assess every drum for structural integrity before beginning the restoration.
Industrial-grade powder coating in any color you choose. Durable, scratch-resistant finishes that outlast traditional paint by years.
Professional vinyl wrapping with custom designs, gradients, and patterns. From subtle wood grain to bold artistic statements — your vision, our execution.
Tension rods, lugs, rims, and hoops cleaned, polished, or re-chromed. We make sure every piece of hardware matches your new shell finish.
Specialized snare drum refinishing including throw-off and strainer replacement, bed-of-nails repair, and vintage snare restoration.
Not sure what your drums need? Bring them in for a free evaluation. We'll tell you exactly what's possible and give you an honest, upfront estimate.
How It Works
Bring your drums to our Manchester shop or ship them to us. We accept all major drum brands — Ludwig, Gretsch, Rogers, Yamaha, Pearl, and more.
We examine every shell for cracks, warping, or damage. You'll receive a detailed written estimate before we touch a single drum.
Stripping, prep, and your chosen finish — powder coat, wrap, or natural. This is where the magic happens, and we take our time getting it right.
Your drums come back looking and sounding like new. Pick them up at our shop or we can arrange shipping back to you.
About Us
Assaulted Battery started with a simple observation: too many great drum shells end up in landfills because the finish is shot. A cracked badge, a faded wrap, a chipped edge — none of that has to be the end of the road for your kit.
Based right here in Manchester, New Hampshire, we're a small but dedicated team that lives and breathes drum refinishing. We've restored everything from vintage 1960s Ludwig kits to modern custom shells, and we bring the same care to a $200 starter kit as we do to a collector's-grade vintage snare.
Every drum that leaves our shop is finished to our own standard — because we're drummers first, and we know what it means to open your case and see something that makes you want to play.
